Lemon Baby

Well, this little girlie girl turned 10 Months yesterday. And she needed her own little photoshoot. Sad, isn't it, how soon our little Angel Babies grow up?
Her current favorite thing is Lemons. I'm not kidding. This babe will crawl into the Pantry just to rip open a bag of lemons. She plays with them, eats them, pucker faces at them...It only seemed right to take her pictures with her favorite 'toys'.

Hasn't she got big blue eyes? Love'im.

And lashes to bring the house down as well! Sadly, mine are rather thin and depend on Mascara...

Apparently, she finally got into the sour part of the lemon, by her face.
"Here, you can have one too". She is such a good baby. Cleans up after playing with her toys, and loves sharing. Please, Lord let her stay this way.

Despite the way the above photos turned out, this was a hard photo shoot. She didn't want to stay in her little Suit case, wanted to throw the lemons to watch my Jack Russel chase them, and persisted in giving me hugs. I love you too Baby, but Addy really wanted to take your pictures. I guess thats what makes working with babies harder. Their attention span lasts 1.2 Seconds, or if you're lucky, 1.3.

So many lemons, but she can only suck on one at a time! Oh, decisions, decisions...

 "What'cho starin' at?"

Added Bokeh. Unfortunately, my camera wont 'do' Bokeh. Does anyone know how to persuade it to do so? Tricks? Tips?

Little dearie. I love her to pieces, and wouldn't take the world over  her.

LaLa Ballarina

For Mother's Day, we spent the day over at my grandparent's. Lala Ballerina had worn her brand new Tutu, and the golden lighting that occurs just after a great rain, mixed with the frilly ness of her outfit was irresistible!
Somehow, she had managed to convince Mama to let her wear her pink beads, "It Matches so nicely!" Lala Ballarina says. So, she was allowed to wear them under the strict promise that NO harm would come to them.
Isn't her frilly ness ADORB?!
Some of the biggest, bluest eyes.
I had fun propping the over grown yard with the ballerina look.
Hanging on the rope swing. You can't imagine (unless you are a fellow photographer with a lower pro camera) how many shots it took to get this one. but I did get it. and it is almost perfect, no?
I simply love Sunflare. And the lighting under my Grandparent's pear tree was really working with me. I love it when Mother Nature and I agree.

Light//Skirt=Perfection.
Again, I'm in lighting love.

Little girl casts long shadows. eh?

Twirl!
Playing with her beads.

This, is my favorite shot of the whole photo Shoot. Love the depth the skirt shows, and the clarity, the color, the everything.

LaLa Ballerina smelling the flowers.
And finally, a smile!
